Adventure Guides
Geared to children in grades K-8 and thier dads, the program brings together the child and father; focusing on his role in his child's life. Children in grades K-3 are involved as Adventure Explorers and then in grades 4-8 they graduate to the Trailblazers program. Both programs follow the same philosophy: dads spending one-on-one time with their children.
The families become part of a Circle and meet regularly with other families in that Circle. Circles do come together to participate in larger activities. Adventure Explorers have camp outs, go bowling, visit museums and parades. Trailblazers go horseback riding, snow tubing and go-carting. They also take part in activities that center around community building. Both groups have an opportunity to perform charitable works.
The program also gives dads time to get together without the children. During these times they act as support for one another and also build relationships among themselves.
Cost: Father & 1 child $45 per year
$5 each additional child
