Before and After School
YMCA School Age Before and After School is available to children kindergarten through sixth grade. However, kindergarten half-day care is not provided.
On scheduled half-days of school, the After School program will be held.  In the case of snow emergency early dismissal, the program will be held, but the hours shortened based on the emergency.  Schools and fees listed are for the 2007-08 school year.  Prices and locations are subject to change for the 2008-09 school year.

Fee Information*
There is a $35.00 registration fee per child and $25.00 for the 2nd, 3rd, etc.  The fee is waved for YMCA members.

• 1 day Before or After only $15/child

• 2 or 3 days Before School Only $20/child

• 2 or 3 days After School Only $30/child

• 2 or 3 days Before & After School $45/child

• 4 or 5 days Before School Only $25/child

• 4 or 5 days After School Only $40/child

• 4 or 5 days Before & After School $57/child

 *For the 2nd and each additional child enrolled in a family, there will be a 10% discount off of the applicable fee.

We follow the YMCA of the USA School Age Care Curriculum based on 8 core content areas. Those areas are; Arts and Humanities, Science and Technology, Literacy, Homework Support, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Social Competency Learning and Conflict Resolution.  

School’s Out
The School's Out Program is a recreational program held weekdays at the YMCA when school is not in session. Your child will experience age appropriate activities centered around specific themes which are usually related to the Holiday into which it falls.  The day is filled with games, activities, and occasional field trips. 

Fees:
$25 participant in School Age program or YMCA member
$35 non-participant / non-YMCA member

December 21, 26, 27, 28, 2007 - Christmas
January 2, 3, 4, 2008 - Christmas 
January 18, 2008 - District 150 Teacher Institute
January 21, 2008 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
February 12, 2008 - Abraham Lincoln Birthday
March 3, 2008 - Casimir Pulaski Day
March 21, 24 - 28, 2008 - District 150 Spring Break

Children must bring a sack lunch and wear gym shoes. We provide snacks and drinks. Registration begins two weeks prior to the School's Out date.
