Invest in Youth
At the Greater Peoria Family YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of kids in our community. But when some are left out, it leaves us all a bit poorer. As a person with vested interest in the future of your community, you can help these kids grow into responsible, successful adults. YMCA activities help children develop valuable skills, gain confidence and build self esteem. By contributing to YMCA Invest in Youth campaign, you can help us teach these young people such important values as caring, honesty, responsibility and respect.

Remember to make the Peoria YMCA your Cause on your Facebook®! Simply log into Facebook® and open the Causes application, open Browse for Cause, enter Greater Peoria Family YMCA, click make it my cause!
Our 2010 Goal is $100,000
The Greater Peoria Family YMCA has raised $38,000 to date for 2010. By donating to the Greater Peoria Family YMCA you not only help us build stong kids, but you are also supporting a local institution with a proven track record of good stewardship.
$100 builds self confidence by providing safety programs for 50 children in the area
$250 donation makes it possible for one child to attend 2 weeks of camp where they are in a safe, enriching environment
$500 enables a child to attend our Before and After School program for the year, a chance to safely make new friends and strengthen values, and a chance to get help with homework and learn the importance of being healthy.
$1,000 expands the horizons of high school students through our Youth and Minority Achievers program
