CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
CARDIO/STRENGTH CIRCUIT
Aerobics alternated with strength training….it’s a balanced blend precisely structured to keep your heart rate up as it builds lean, shapely muscles. Each interval lasts 1-3 minutes…..long enough to truly challenge your body yet short enough to keep you motivated. Each session ends with a challenging core workout and stretching. All fitness levels welcome. (60 min.)
DANCE & STRETCH
Aerobic dance combined with fast walking and jogging. If you like a class that is fun but you still get a good cardio workout, this class is for you! Class ends with stretching. Come join us! (Optional pre-class warm-up routine 5:00 – 5:30 a.m.) (60 min.)
FLOOR-CORE & MORE
Rev up your morning with floor exercises using free weights and bands for resistance. Improve and target the deep postural muscles within the body utilizing Pilates body-conditioning techniques. (60 min.)
GROUP POWER®
Group Power® is your hour of power! This 60 minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power® is for all ages and fitness levels. Discover results, discover Group Power®! (60 min.)
GROUP RIDE®
Everyone finishes first in Group Ride! Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. This 60-minute cycling program is geared for anyone that can ride a bike. Motivating music, awesome instructors and an inspiring group environment lets you Ride On! (60 min.) (A PASS IS REQUIRED AND IS AVAILABLE AT THE FRONT DESK 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF CLASS.)
SHRED
A total body strength class designed to build muscle and burn calories as participants work through a circuit of different types of weight exercises. The class will utilize dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands, stability balls, and body weight in a variety of traditional and functional based movements. Shred is for beginners through advanced weight-lifters, since exercises and repetitions can be modified to meet the needs of each participant. (60 min.)
SILVERSNEAKERS® MUSCULAR STRENGTH AND RANGE OF MOVEMENT (MSROM)
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. (45-60 min.)
SILVERSNEAKERS® CARDIO CIRCUIT
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers® ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic activity. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. (45-60 min.)
SILVERSNEAKERS® YOGASTRETCH
YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. (45-60 min.)
STEP
Fun, energetic and easy to follow, this mixed impact cardio class will keep you moving on a step platform. Burn fat and strengthen your heart. Class finishes with core work. All fitness levels welcome. (50 min.)
STEP, STRETCH & STRENGTHEN
Start your day with interval training using a step to challenge your heart alternated with resistance training using weights and bands. Class ends with stretching. (60 min.)
STEP TWO
Same basic fundamentals as the regular step class but DOUBLE the fun using two steps instead of one! (45 min.)
STRETCH/FLEX & TONE
A perfect lunch hour/noon time workout! Two muscle groups, one lower and one upper, are focused on at each class and worked to their fullest potential. A combination of weights, bands, balls, steps, and your own body resistance are used…sometimes we even use towels! Each class ends with a fabulous abdominal workout, stretching and relaxation. A unique class and a great compliment to your existing workout(s). (45 min.)
TURBO KICK®
The unique Turbo Kick movement patterns, combinations and techniques work together to give YOU the ultimate cardiovascular workout that will melt fat and reshape your body. Each full body workout consists of a warm-up, higher paced intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a mind/body like cool-down designed to maximize weight loss. No previous kickboxing experience required. (60 min.)
YOGA
Hatha Yoga combines posture, breathing, and focus to promote strength, flexibility, stamina, balance, and deep relaxation of the mind and body. Beginner and Intermediate level. (LATE ARRIVALS ARE DISCOURAGED DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE CLASS.) (60 min.)
ZUMBA®
Zumba® is a fun, easy to learn cardio class that feels more like a fitness party than a workout. This class fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves that tones, sculpts, and melts away stress, leaving you feeling energized and wanting more! Ditch the workout, join the party! (60 min.)
ZUMBA GOLD®
For the beginner, utilizing easy to learn choreography and safe, slow progressions. Ditch the workout, join the party! (45 min.)
