Minority Achievers
Ages 14 through 18 (Grades 8 through 12)
The Minority Achievers program is designed to help teens set, attain and maintain high educational and career goals. The program uses minority adult achievers who have achieved in the professional world as role models for the students.
The main components of the program are academic performance or improvement, employment education, leadership development, drug/ alcohol prevention education, volence prevention, ACT/SAT preparation, building self esteem adn positive family relationships.
Participants meet every Tuesday and Wednesday during hte school year from 6 to 8 p.m. We fundraise year round to support college visits. For more information call Philicia at 671-2702
